the A word

was just watching the trailer for a buddhist film that somehow got me thinking about the authentic experience. it was about this traveler who visited the haloed grounds of Myanmar and soon after came under the tutelage of a monk. seeing the scenes of village life and dance rituals, which she filmed during her time there (which was glaring because of the contrast of the nature of the subject and the filming/commodifying aspect of it), it suddenly occurred to me that now, whatever it is we do or wherever we go, the ultimate aim becomes to share that information, that experience- via whatever means available. if it is not shared, our experience becomes nullified. if it is not known to others, it is as if our life is not breathed into, as if we do not exist. thus, our very existence is validated by the knowledge of it by others, something we have strived towards since the beginning of time. which brings me to, how then can we truly experience authentically? or is all our experience, all of our lives and time on this earth inanely inauthentic? or is there a way to authentically experience despite the constant nagging sharing conscience? or does the word authentic require an in-depth dissection for us to reach a semblance of an answer?

is dissecting authenticity and its meaning authentic? lol.
