'receive with simplicity everything that happens to you'

that was the opening line.

the first coen movie i have seen, 'a serious man' was weird, unsettling, enlightening, genius, perplexing, funny, odd, dysfunctional, and more perplexing all at once.(the fact that i m bloggin this @ 8.44 in the morning just goes to show my unsettledness.) i can imagine one either thinkin this is a completely ridiculous film or a brilliant one.

it will take a fair bit to delve into all its themes and intricacies, but i dont have the know-how for that.

all i can say is, in all in vagueness and inexplicability lies its precise meaning and significance.

lookin up the imdb, it seems the 'Schroedinger's Cat/Uncertainty principle' was a big part of understandin the film, which i do not have any clue on. there were also many religious jewish referances which i was completely lost in.

need to wiki this shit and positively watch it again.

for we are infinitely bound for differences.
