we are so self-indulgent, aren't we?
so self-indulgent we lose sense of the ways of the world and the actuality of things.
we are unhinged and choose to believe what we want to believe in and i sometimes wonder what the objective reality of it all is- which of course, will remain a mystery.
i sure hope it is by no means a case of self-sustaining catharsis- the construction and immortalization of a free-for-all wonderland we escape to and indulge in once so often that it becomes our stand-in for something else, something that demands tangible action and the realistic purging of emotions.
boy, are we lost somewhere? have we always been lost to begin with?
this is bad,
and not in a good way.
