the bizarre case of the dead nerves

i went to the dentist today and extracted some nerves. not a tooth, but the nerves within it. how fucking bizarre does that sound, tell me. the dentist said the nerves had died. i had no idea what it really meant. some nerves i had to allow such a thing to happen. it was the grossest thing ever. i mean remove a nerve?? so odd it sounds, so unthinkable to begin with. thinkin about it now still gives me the creeps. there on the metal tray, i saw my yellow nerve. it was such a weird sight, repulsive and weird. i even held it up with the forcep to have a good look. a tiny yellow strip it was. the pain has subsided, but i still have to do a root canal treatment thingy, which i dont even wanna think about now. why why why! such bodily ailments always find their way to me!! we were talkin about revamps and i told C my body needs one. she suggested i consider some major detox/meditation regime. I am just amazed at how more dysfunctional i can get, really.
